PURPOSE:  This two-day, sixteen-hour class is designed for students new to pistol mounted red dot or students transitioning from iron sight pistols to red dot mounted pistols. 

 

OVERVIEW:  Pistol mounted red dots are valuable tools for improving shooter accuracy, speed, situational awareness, field of view, maintaining threat focus, and self-diagnosing grip and trigger deficiencies.  Use of these systems is becoming the standard in law enforcement and the military due to the officer and public safety benefits they provide. 

 

Fundamentals of Pistol Mounted Red Dots is intended for students with experience using pistols, yet have no formal training using pistol-mounted red dots.  This course will provide students with an overview of red dot technology, shooting with pistol-mounted red dots, and additional training practices going forward.​
